 Nickel chrome plated  is the most common electroplating technique, which uses nickel and chromium deposits to form a multilayer finish on the substrate. The motorcycle and automotive industries use this process to achieve a shiny and glossy appearance on their parts. It forms a hard outer layer that improves the corrosion and wear resistance of the substrate. In addition to metal plating, it is also used in plastic materials for decorative purposes.
