ST 52-3  honed cylinder tube  is the seamless cold drawn tube made of material steel grade st52.3 for hydraulic cylinder applications, it is usually used as  hydraulic cylinder barrel . St52 steel (St52-3) is an unalloyed structural steel grade complies with DIN 17100: 1980. ST 52-3 is low carbon steel grade, excellent weldable, the most widely used steel grade used for  cylinder tubes . Normally supplied stressed relieved and annealed to either Din 2391-C for seamless tubes or Din 2393-C for welded tubes. ST 52.3 Honed cylinder tubes are highly durable and resistant to wear and tear.   Honed tube for hydraulic cylinder   also work as   hydraulic cylinder barrel   in many industry.This is because honed tubes are the most important materials of manufacturing hydraulic cylinders. And as this kind of tubing is usually honed in tube inside diameter, it is known as  honed ID tubing  also. PRODUCTION PROCESS OF HONED TUBE FOR HYDRAULIC CYLINDER While producing honed tubes,  Wuxi YUTONG  uses the honing process to make smooth surface finishes of inside diameters; and to maintain exact tolerances on inside diameters. Under the honing process, abrasive stones and paper are used to the ID of the tubes, which “grinds” stock away to remove surface imperfections from the cold drawing process; and to achieve the desired dimensional tolerances and surface finish.
