  As the main component of the hydraulic cylinder, the processing quality of the   cylinder barrel  directly affects the life and reliability of the entire product. The cylinder has high processing requirements, and its inner surface roughness is required to be Ra0.4 ~ 0.8um, and the requirements for coaxiality and wear resistance are strict. Generally, it is processed and produced by the principle of  honing  or rolling. The common materials of cylinder barrel are SAE1020, 1026, 1045,  ST52 seamless honed tubes , the steel tube is honed or rolled to meet the roughness requirement within 0.4μm.   Induction hardening  is a non-contact process used for the surface hardening of steel and other alloys. The parts to be treated are placed inside a copper coil and heated above their transformation temperature by applying an alternating current to the coil. The   cylinder rod   is then quenched to retain the enhanced properties of the steel alloy. During this process, the   induction hardened chrome rod   core remains unaffected and its physical properties remain the same.
