WHAT IS HOT FINISHED SEAMLESS TUBES HFS TUBE

Hot Finished Seamless   Tube (HFS Tube) is  carbon seamless steel tube commonly produced from a rotating heated bar and pierced to create a hollow tube . HFS tubing is a cost effective alternative to cold drawn seamless tubing with just a broader tolerance range on the outside diameter (OD) and inside diameter (ID). Hot Finished Seamless mechanical tubing is manufactured to OD and wall dimensions. HFS tube is made from St52 Steel Meets ASTM A519 & A106 standards Stocked Size Range: 20mm – 1500mm Stocked Lengths  max 16m Cut to length service available Benefits of Hot Finish Seamless (HFS Tubing): Cost effective heavy wall tubing  Easy Machinability Excellent candidate for most processing techniques. Wide range of sizes available As a professional HFS tube supplier, manufacturer, exporter in China, Wuxi YUTONG  has more than 20 years production experience, we sell cold drawn seamless tube and  hydraulic honed tubing  to customers and provide full range of technical support. The Astm B117 Salt Spray Test Hours

Salt spray testing is a common accelerated corrosion test method that exposed metallic and non-metallic materials (like   hydraulic cylinder piston rod )to a highly corrosive environment, over an extended period of time, in order to assess their relative corrosion resistance. The testing can also be used to determine the effectiveness of paints and coatings like hard chrome plating or   induction hardened   at protecting the substrate material from corrosion. Salt spray testing is usually carried out to most widely used standard ASTM B117 neutral salt spray test for between 24 and 1000 hours, however this may be specified. The testing typically involves using a 5% sodium chloride (NaCl) solution with is atomised within a sealed chamber to create a saltwater mist, accelerating the corrosion of the materials being tested. The test samples are generally inspected at regular intervals to monitor and record the degradation of the samples until either the client wants to terminate the test
